At the cfc25, various forms of digitalization for your contribution will be utilized: Recording (VOD), Streaming, and Hybrid.
You can freely choose which of these options you would like for your contribution and which you do not.
Please note that you can and must select each option individually if you want to combine different forms of digitalization. Each option stands alone and does not automatically include any of the others.
If you agree to the recording, your contribution can be recorded and made available for download at haeckflix.org and/or media.ccc.de. You can also choose to have your recording stored on only one of the two servers. In any case, the stored recording will be published under a CC license.
If you want to make your contribution available not only as a recording, but also as a stream or in a hybrid format, please select these options in addition.
With streaming, no downloadable file is created or saved. Your contribution will only be available live online via haeckflix.org and/or media.ccc.de. Viewers may record the stream, but we will not save anything.
If you want to have a recording in addition to streaming, please also select VoD.
Please note that the stream is exclusively for consumption. If you also want to make your contribution available in a hybrid format, please select the hybrid option in addition.
In a hybrid format, your contribution will be connected to remote participants via a BBB room. We will not make any recordings. The BBB rooms are hosted on instances that do not record either. The BBB session could be recorded by remote participants, but only in violation of our Code of Conduct, which prohibits this. Remote participants must agree to the Code of Conduct when purchasing a ticket. Additionally, BBB rooms cannot be accessed by anonymous individuals.
If you also want to make your session available as a stream or recording, please select the corresponding option in addition.
We do not digitize everything. Most, but not all, talks will be fully digitized unless otherwise requested. Most, but perhaps not all, workshops, networking meetings, etc., will be offered at most in a hybrid format, but will not be recorded or streamed, unless requested otherwise. If you are unsure whether your contribution will be processed correctly and in accordance with your wishes, please feel free to contact us via email at eventorga@haecksen.org.
Because the question has changed slightly. At the beginning of the Call for Proposals (CfP), the technical implementation was not finalized. We are now able to offer you clearer and more specific options so that you can make a well-informed decision.
No. If you simply ignore our questions about this, we will implement your contribution exactly as you requested. If you have opted out recording, streaming, storage, and publication, we will not do any of these! If you didn't opt out, your contribution may be processed in all of the digital formats described above.
Have you had a change of heart and decided you'd rather not have your contribution recorded or published? No problem at all. However, the steps to take depend on when you make this decision. Please note that recordings are sometimes published just a few hours after the event, so you won't have time to review your contribution at home.
To delete a recording, we first need to know which servers it's stored on. Please send us your request with a link to the recording you'd like to delete via email to info@haecksen.org or vorstand@haecksen.org.
All deletion requests will be processed within GDPR deletion timeframes.
If you'd like to have something edited out of your recording, please send us the link to the recording in question via email to info@haecksen.org or vorstand@haecksen.org.
Please note that we reserve the right to take the talk offline if we're unable to make the desired changes or if the original content would be distorted by the edit.
Since editing a recording after the fact can be very time-consuming, we kindly ask you to only request this in important cases. It may also take a little longer. If you'd prefer to have your recording removed from the internet while we work on it, please let us know.
